Mike has lived in many small towns in Southwestern Ontario, but spent his formative years in Clinton, Ontario. After a successful run posing as a student at York University and Seneca College's School of Communication Arts, he settled into a life of part-time employment. Currently, Mike is working at the CNIB Library for the Blind, and is proud to be the only member of the cast who reads Braille.
Mike spends most of his free time performing on Toronto's comedy stages as a charter member of the sketch-mercenaries The Minnesota Wrecking Crew, and was nominated for the Tim Sims Encouragement Award for most promising new comedy act in the sketch duo Nugmutter. Mike's work with Nugmutter got him attention from scouts and an audition for Saturday Night Live in the summer of 1998. His television credits include several commercials, TSN's Gallagher, The Comedy Network's The Gavin Crawford Show, Elvira Kurt's Adventures In Comedy, and Cream Of Comedy. Mike has also done some stage acting with Vanier College Productions at York University and in downtown Toronto in parts ranging from a Presidential assassin to Santa Claus to Juliet's mother.
Mike enjoys professional wrestling and is fully aware that it is, as they say, "fake". He is very sensitive about that, please do not provoke him. He also enjoys Colombo, Iron Chef, and his Playstation, though at this writing, he only has one game.
Mike wants you all to remember the three I's: Intelligence, Intensity, and Integrity.
Mike would like to thank the producers of First Time Caller for casting him in such a great role, and punish them for making him the only non-Italian member of the cast (though he now considers himself to be an honorary Italian).
