In pursuit of a way to become a guest of the "Regis and Kathie Lee" show and or "The Young and the Restless," seven year old Amanda chose acting as her vehicle. After very structured acting classes with the Canadian Youth Academy of Performing Arts for five years, Amanda's mission had her cross dressing to play Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory followed by frolicking with a nine foot dragon named Dudley, in Dudley's Funtastic Summer Adventure at Ontario Place. Amanda continued crafting her craft and graduated from Ryerson Theatre School in 1998. Television credits include the A&E mini-series Haunted Houses [where Amanda watched her mother be decapitated.] Favorite roles include: Clytemnestra in The Greeks and Juliet in Lovers, Lunatics and other poets. Amanda would like to thank all of her classmates and teachers at R.T.S and her parents and friends for their lengthy tolerance and undying support.
